Focusing on people, optimising your care. Surrey Urology is with you every step of the patient journey.

About

The Urology Department at Ashford & St Peter’s Hospital’s NHS Foundation Trust provides a wide range of urological   services to North West Surrey and the neighbouring areas of Woking,  Weybridge, and Cobham.

We are a dedicated and active surgical unit and over the years our department has continued to develop and grow. We now have a team of 5 Consultants, 6 middle grade Registrars, 4 further junior doctors and 4 Urology Nurse Practitioners supported by 3 secretaries.

We are always striving to provide a world class service for all our patients at both our main sites at Ashford and St Peters in Chertsey as well as providing local specialist care through peripheral clinics. We are committed to delivering the best evidence based urological care available and are     continually looking at ways to improve our services.

Our Urology service is patient centred and aims to be easily accessible, desirable, safe and effective. We believe improved communication with patients who are better informed and prepared, will result in a more rewarding patient journey and a happier patient.

We can only accept referrals from your GP or from a hospital consultant. If you do have an urological problem, therefore, you should visit your GP first; he/she can then decide whether referral is necessary or appropriate. Once you have been referred by your GP, you will be able to schedule an outpatient appointment. We may arrange for you to undergo some tests in advance of your appointment to speed up the diagnostic process.

If you have concerns about appointments, investigations, admissions or results, contact your Consultant's secretary or if you prefer, you can talk with one of the Specialist Nurses. All the contact details are listed below.
